An outdoor kitchen or bar in the alfresco requires: a benchtop support structure (typically masonry or steel frame), power points at the correct positions for a bar fridge, outdoor cooking appliances and any lighting, a plumbing connection for an outdoor sink if required (coordinated by our in-house plumber), and gas rough-in where a gas BBQ or outdoor cooktop is planned. All of these elements are best incorporated into the alfresco design from the beginning — the electrical wiring, gas rough-in and any plumbing are run during the framing stage and are concealed within the structure at a fraction of the cost of retrofitting them later.
